Title: A World at Every Plunge
Author: Tiamat’s Child
Word Count: 1000
Rating: K
Characters/Pairing: Trisha Elric, Rockbells
Summary: Trisha is exhausted. Luckily, she has good neighbors.
Warnings: None.
A/N: Written for [livejournal.com profile] fma_fic_contest prompt 44, “Ladies Only”. It’s been edited a bit since then – mostly because I was reminded that we have, indeed, had one mention of a canon personal name for Dr. Sara Rockbell in the manga, although her husband hasn’t had one in that source yet. (So I guessed. I’ll probably turn out to be wrong, but hey.) Manga continuity.

Title: Country Matters
Fandom: FMA (mangaverse)
Character(s): Pinako, Hohenheim
Pairing: Hohenheim/Trisha (offstage)
Rating: PG (for mild language and the situation under discussion)
Warnings: Spoilers for two tidbits of information, one in chapter 40, the other in chapter 54.
A/N: Part of my LJ-to-Dreamwidth fanfiction port; this short story was written in 2006 (before we knew anything about Hohenheim's backstory at all, really -- and before I'd learned to write shorter paragraphs for online viewing) and was my first substantial creative contribution to the FMA fandom. It's set before the beginning of the manga and I'd like to think that it still works, despite all the revelations since then. (I had much more Machiavellian suspicions about Hohenheim's marriage to Trisha in those days.) Opinions welcomed. Dedication: For Katie S.

She glared at the door again and hoped he felt her gaze boring into his back. What are you doing, Hohenheim? And why the hell did you come here to do it?
